Nick got a new job!! We are SO excited for his new beginning and the changes it's going to bring to our family. He loved the company he was working for, but the drive and the hours he put in and the overall stress of the job had us praying (and everyone we knew praying) for a change.
And God answered our prayers big time! Nick's new job is around a 7 minute drive from our home. He will go to work around 7:30am and get off around 4:30pm. It leaves plenty of time to actually ENJOY his evenings and spend time with me and the kids. We couldn't be happier! These are a few pics from his first day (September 5th).

The day after Nick started his new job, we celebrated 10 years of marriage! The timing of Nick starting this new job coinciding with our 10 year anniversary felt totally appropriate--knowing that even after being with somebody for 10 years, God can find ways to make life new and fresh again! We are thankful every day that He has helped protect our marriage and that he has blessed us with two (mostly) sweet kiddos!
